Sorah Al-Infitar ( The Cleaving )

English - Transliteration

Sorah Al-Infitar ( The Cleaving ) - Verses Number 19

إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ ( 1 )

Itha assamao infatarat

وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ ( 2 )

Wa-itha alkawakibu intatharat

وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ( 3 )

Wa-itha albiharu fujjirat

وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ( 4 )

Wa-itha alqubooru buAAthirat

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ ( 5 )

AAalimat nafsun ma qaddamatwaakhkharat

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ ( 6 )

Ya ayyuha al-insanu magharraka birabbika alkareem

الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ( 7 )

Allathee khalaqaka fasawwakafaAAadalak

فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ ( 8 )

Fee ayyi sooratin ma shaarakkabak

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ ( 9 )

Kalla bal tukaththiboona biddeen

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ ( 10 )

Wa-inna AAalaykum lahafitheen

كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ ( 11 )

Kiraman katibeen

يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ ( 12 )

YaAAlamoona ma tafAAaloon

إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ ( 13 )

Inna al-abrara lafee naAAeem

وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ ( 14 )

Wa-inna alfujjara lafee jaheem

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ ( 15 )

Yaslawnaha yawma addeen

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ ( 16 )

Wama hum AAanha bigha-ibeen

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ( 17 )

Wama adraka ma yawmu addeeni

ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ( 18 )

Thumma ma adraka mayawmu addeen

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ ( 19 )

Yawma la tamliku nafsun linafsinshay-an wal-amru yawma-ithin lillah

Letter to the West - A Saudi ViewThis book was prepared by a group of Saudi scholars and intellectuals. They address Western mind which looks at fair truth and objective and convincing dialogue. The book, in general, discusses the most important issues and suspicions raised by Western political and media organizations in the aftermath of September 11, 2001 events. These events have placed Islam, the Kingdom, its people, and its religious, educational and social institutions in a position that requires correction and review.
